LIVE MUSIC

Texas Joe Bailey & Sweet Leaf Junction
Joe Bailey is a successful and professional musician who performs in and around the Texas region. At an early age, after attending a live concert, he relayed to his parents he was interested in pursuing a music career. He experienced the thrill of performing live when he began performing in church and has not looked back. At the age of 13, a family friend suggested for Bailey to audition for The Texas Opry which was run by the family of Steve Douglas; a recording artist, who had charted top 40 country songs. At this audition Douglas took an immediate liking to Bailey’s performing and personality and signed him to be a regular performer on the Opry’s coveted Saturday night show. This launched Joe’s professional career & in the following years he’s gone on to play some of Texas’ greatest venues. Fronting many bands over the years he proved his vocals could handle all genres and amassed a large catalog of material full of variety. After several years of working for various band owners Bailey decided to form his own group the Sweet Leaf Junction. A comprised pick, of the best of musicians he’s worked with over the years. Now booking solo acoustic, duo, or full band shows, seven days a week, Bailey aims to please and give every venue exactly what they are looking for.

The Zydeco Dots
The Zydeco Dots, more commonly referred to just as The Dots, originated in 1987. Back then Zydeco music was advancing in popularity and The Dots were about to do their part. Although Zydeco music was born in southern Louisiana, the music had been played in the Gulf Coast Region from the Florida panhandle to south Texas since the early 1900s. Clifton Chenier (The King of Zydeco) gave the mjusic its name and brought Zydeco to a new level. In Houston, Texas, during the mid 80s the music was still relativel obscure. The Dots, based in Houston, brought Zydeco to venues where the music had never been heard before. Since then, The Zydeco Dots have won numerous awards and have been voted best Zydeco band by the Houston Press. The Dots have backed up many accoridan players over the years including such notables as CJ Chenier, Pierre Blanchard, Leon Sam, Perrre Stout, Wilfred Chavis, Lil Jabo, Ted Pacholik, Paul Richard, Lil Willie Davis, Lonnie Mitchell, Wilbert Thibideaux and promising newcomer Lil Pop’s.

Colby Swift
Colby Swift is a graduate of Tidehaven High School from Midfield, Texas. He is a golden ticket winner for the 2019 season of American Idol. Colby gets his inspiration from country artists George Strait, Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakum and Johnny Cash.
